Christmas

I am a little late with this post, because I think I am in denial that Christmas is really over....
Our first Christmas together as a family was so much fun. We really enjoyed spending a lot of time together after a busy month of December with school, work, shopping, and partying! It all went by too fast!
Christmas Eve was spent with the Olaveson Family.
We had a great time eating a great dinner, talking, laughing, and opening gifts.
All the girls....
All the boys...
We spent Christmas day at the Cabin. Kai had a lot of fun opening his Christmas presents from Santa, Mom, Dad, and Grandparents. He is learning how to walk with his little train, and it is really fun to watch him try to figure it out.

I am so thankful for the birth of our Savior, and the special Spirit that is present during the Christmas Season.
We had so much fun celebrating Christmas with each of
our families this year.
I am already looking forward to next year!

November In A Nutshell......

November came and went.
I was on Jury Duty for 2 weeks.
Being a Jury virgin, I had no idea what I was in for.
I thought it would never end.
On the bright side, I now know all the excuses to get out of it next time!
I'm willing to share my knowledge.

Here are a few pictures of the time I got to spend with my cute boys.

Kai loving his lil' pumpkin.
I really can't believe November is over.

Kai was one cute Lil' Pumpkin

Halloween was quite holy this year.
We had a BLAST going to parties with our fun friends.
Our costumes were a hit.
Can't wait until next year.

Mission Reunion & Conference Weekend

We got to spend General Conference weekend in Utah.
We went to Dal's mission reunion in Provo. He has the neatest Mission President, and I'm so glad that I have had the opportunity to him.
We were privileged to stay with Stefani, Clint, and Jeff in Highland. I love them, and I'm so grateful that we are family. I had great babysitters all weekend.

Lake Powell

We took a quick trip to Lake Powell with our friends, and their family. We had so much fun. The weather was perfect, water was smooth, and the company was even better. We decided to go with them the day before they were leaving for Lake Powell! CRAZY! I left Kai home with his Grandma's, and he did so great. I was pretty nervous about leaving him, but the trip turned out to be one of the best trips of my life. I am so glad we went. A HUGE thanks to the Schaat & Hymas family! Can't wait until next year ;)!!
"It was just what I wanted....almost!"

Some highlights of our trip were:
-Surfing day & night
-Playing cards & games
-Swimming
-Cliff jumping
-Sun tanning & relaxing
-Visiting Rainbow Bridge
-Tattoo's (fake)
-Birds eating an entire bag of unopened treats (errrrr. I hate birds)
-A bat attacking Chris
-Dancing
-Talking & hanging out together
-Laughing the entire trip
-Coming home to my baby boy

Fun At The Fair

You GOTTA love the Eastern Idaho State Fair! We go every year, and we always have a great time looking around, EATING, catching up with friends, and people watching! (haha)

This year we went to the Hypnotist, Idaho Idol, and hit up the tasty food. Here are a few pics of us at the Fair.
Lovebirds!
Kai wasn't too sure about the Fair at first, but he ended up loving riding around in the carrier, and taking in all the sites ;)
My cute boys!
Can't wait to go back to "The Fair" next year!
