Just my luck......

For those of you who don't know, I am the biggest Celine Dion fan around. I have been in love with her, and her music since I was young. I have been to her other Shows, and was SO excited to hear that she was coming to Salt Lake in November with her new tour, after finishing up her amazing show in Vegas! For my birthday in June, my wonderful husband surprised me with FRONT ROW TICKETS!!! To say the least, I have been really looking forward to this concert for about a year. We made our hotel reservations, I got work off, Dal was leaving school early, and everything was going to work out perfect for our weekend, until I was notified (on wednesday) that the concert on Friday night had been rescheduled!!! I was praying it was some mistake! I was wrong! Celine is ill, and can't make it. AHHHH! Why now?? I was now just crossing my fingers that the rescheduled date would be perfect. NOT! The last week of February, a Sunday night, days before this baby is supposed to be here is the night that has been scheduled for the concert. I'm pretty bummed that I am sitting home tonight posting this, when I should have been singing along with Celine. Wow, I have some bad luck. :(

Halloween Night

We had a great time Halloween night. Every year we stop by Grammy's for her famous stew, wassail, rolls, and doughnuts.  It is fun to see everyone dressed up. We then headed to a party with some old high school friends. This year I thought it would be funny to dress up as Sarah Palin (if you don't know who she is, please don't vote on Tuesday) and Dal was my Security Guard. We had fun eating, playing Guitar Hero, and a few great rounds of the card game scum. I wore my costume to work today, and it was a hit with the older folks. I had cut my bangs a while ago, so it worked well with the costume. I had on a McCain/Palin 2008 pin. It was a little tricky to hide my baby bump!
