Swimming at Heise

We had a blast taking Kai swimming a few times to good old Heise! It may be a bit run down and have a few gross objects swimming in its waters, but I have sure made some good memories there. ;) I'm not ready for summer to be over.

I love this little guy. I had his 6 month pictures taken, and I am so happy with the way they turned out. He has such a fun personality. I have really enjoyed watching him grow. I can't believe he has been with us for 6 months now. He has changed our lives for the better.

-He LOVES watching Barney and Little Einsteins.

-He is scooting all over the place, sitting up, and is ready to crawl.

-He has so much fun playing in his exer-saucer and jumper.

-He is always smiling.

-He loves his bottle, and is doing so good at holding it by himself. Yay!

To celebrate his 24th Birthday, here are 24 facts/things

I LOVE about Dal:

1. He was born August 2, 1985.

2. He served a mission in Helsinki, Finland, and speaks Finnish very well.

3. He has great style.

4. He is going to get his Master's degree in Architecture.

5. He likes to be very organized, and for everything to have a place.

6. He is my "Handy Man," and can build or fix about anything. He is a very hard worker.

7. His favorite places to eat are Olive Garden & Bajio's.

8. His favorite color is North Carolina blue.

9. He is a technology nerd/junkie, and loves anything Apple comes out with.

10. He loves Mountain Dew & Gatorade.

11. He loves Seinfeld, and has watched/can recite every episode.

12. He is good at shopping for the best deal, but isn't cheap.

13. He would eat Mac N' Cheese every day.

14. His favorite thing to do is Waterski, and he is very good at it.

15. He is my shopping partner, and is so fun to go with.

16. He is so willing to take me to "chick flicks," and enjoy it.

17. He has had the same group of friends "The Crew" that still hang out all the time.

18. He is SO smart. He almost has a 4.0 in college!!

19. He so great about wanting to do things with me, and with our family, and likes us to have hobbies that we can do together. (thanks babe)

20. He is amazing at designing house plans, additions, shop's, cabin's, grocery stores, etc.....

21. His favorite treats are: GUMMIES, peanut butter M&M's, oreo's, CHEESECAKE, nibs, jerky

22. Dal is SOOOO funny! He is always making people laugh. I love his analogies ;) haha

23. He is the BEST Dad to Kai. He is willing to do anything to help me with him, and wants them to be "best buds." I love watching him "hang out" with his little "dude."

24. Dal is the best Husband, friend, and lover to me! I LOVE YOU! XOXO

It's Private Time....

It's time. I have decided to make our blog private. Happy 4th Of July!

We had a great 4th of July weekend. There were so many fun things to do, and people to see.

Dallin and I went and watched the fireworks at Rigby Lake on Friday night. My Dad volunteered to watch Kai, so we enjoyed spending a little time together.

We had a busy day on Saturday, starting off the day with Dal playing in the Menan 3 on 3 tournament.

Next, we headed off to Rexburg to be in the parade. We rode in the AWESOME Broulim's shopping cart that my Dad had built. It was so much fun.

Then, it was back to Menan to watch some softball, the parade, and to check out all of the festivities that were going on.

We had a fun bbq with Dal's fam, and ended the evening watching the amazing firework show in Idaho Falls.

We are so lucky to live in this great land. I am so thankful to those who serve our Country each day, and make it possible for us to live in this free Nation. I am proud to be an American!

A Day At The Lake

Yay for good weather! We were finally able to go out in the boat for the first time this year, and had a blast. Here are some pictures from our fun day at the lake.

Captain Dal:

Dal was awesome on the surf board.

Kai loved riding in the boat, but he wasn't too sure about the life jacket thing......

Boating is our favorite thing to do as a family. We have so much fun spending time out at the lake taking turns skiing, wakeboarding, surfing, eating, or just hanging out in the boat. We are hoping that July will be a month of some great weather. Bring on the sunburns, friends, family, and fun!

Yes Kai, you have an arm. You actually have 2 of them!

A few weeks ago, Kai discovered that there was something attached to his body. 2 arms! He spends lots of time with his arm straight up in the air in a cheerleading pose, just staring at it. We finally got a picture. Too funny!
